Kathmandu is safe now. Battles still going on but that doesn't related to workers but power cut is still too high. 12 hours power cut in a day that kills the business. There is another major problem about telephone network. Think about that and plan to go there.

animation?
do you want to die of starvation?
you won't earn much in that sector...so, it's not safe for you to come work here...

p.s. If you are still in doubts about the "security condition", I just want to let you know that It is long over....there is absolutely nothing to fear...

It is perfectly safe in Kathmandu. As anywhere else in the world, you need to exercise common sense caution to protect yourself and your property.

I think you might have already researched about the electrical power situation and other issues. It is 12 hours of blackouts per day but is on the decline due to summer and also incoming monsoon season. Will not have much problem until November, then you will start to feel some pinch due to the electrical situation. However, since you might have sufficient backups, I think there is nothing to worry about the power situation.
