Anyone from L.A. in Auckland? What are the neighborhoods like for young faimily?
Planning to move to Auckland this winter. Anyone can give ideas about the specific neighborhoods in and around Auckland city in comparison to the neighborhoods in Los Angeles/ Orange County, let's say Pasadena, Westwood, Newport Beach, Irvine, SF Valley, etc. I'm interested ina neighborhood similar to Westwood/Santa Monica.
well the suburbs in auckland are probably nowhere near the scale of LA suburbs, but if you were to compare, i wud say south auckland would be like south central or compton, hollywood or beverly hills will be more like howick or the northern suburbs and the average suburbs similar to most average LA suburbs, however the crime rate in auckland is far lower than LA and alot safer and prettier city in my opinion
