check out http://www.immigration.govt.nz/ for information on visas and obtaining permanent residency in NZ, it can be tricky getting permanent residency unless you're doing a job in which there is a shortage of skilled workers - possibly check with your consulate aswell
and
www.seek.co.nz
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-me-jobs/index.htm
for job listings

check out the NZ immigration website... and follow the course of a "Skilled migration" you need a minimum of 100 points, by the sounds of you have more like 200...

not a problem

If there is a candidate shortage in the area of IT you are in then I would say your chances of staying would be very hopeful. Our government won't want someone to leave if they can fill a position that otherwise couldn't be filled by a NZer. Particularly as more NZers are moving to Australia & IT pays more over there from what I've heard. And if you have an employer that wants to employ you on a permanent basis that might help also.

I think it also helps if you have money to invest into our economy. So if you have any savings you could tell immigration that you intend to invest this in a NZ company or the NZ stockmarket, etc or even just as a term investment in a NZ bank.

try to keep the presant job you have as the immigration when looking at your application will be looking mostly at how you can be a asset to nz job wise and drive slow! many indians in nz get loads of speeding tickets or caught drunk driving and it really stufs the process up
