Blue ladies

Are you grateful Helen Clark didnt send our troops to die for the Bush/Chainey oil and land grabbing?

I think grateful is a little tame but cant think of a better word. While i think Helen is a bit loose and her prostituting herself for Winston is politics gone mad, but on the other hand she gets my vote for caring about people more than money and greed.

Did it make you proud when she refused the "your with us or against us" threat?

Your feelings, comments please?

Thank you.
Additional Details
yes the recent statements have been a bit loony, but she did say get stuffed to the war mongers and i admire that, the recent statements are a bit dodgy to me

I used to be in the Australian army and I wouldn't wish war on any country. That "You're with us or against us" comment from Bush was nothing short of arrogant. World peace may be impossible to achieve but why pick a fight? I like your style

I'm a Filipina-American whose brother has been w/the AirForce for 20 years and counting and he's been sent to South Korea several times & now is in Kuwait a coupla times...I myself am against this bullsh*t war that's been going on for how many years now and i hate it when the USA ask's other countries to help them fight the Middle Easterners...

I'm glad ya'lls President or Prime Minister said no to Bush & Cheney about sending New Zealand's troops to combat...The US needs to send home our troops and enough fighting, we've lost so many good people...

good on Helen for having the ba*ls to say NO. it is ok to say no.
i think that the stance she has on war in the middle east is a excellent choice and people should remember it when we go to vote in November.
National = war and greed
Labour = peace and sharing
Greens = peace love and mongbeans

Refresh my memory but Helen DID send troops to Iraq, A battalion of engineers, based around Basra?

She refused to help with the invasion - but she could not refuse a request for 'peacekeepers'. Our 'friends' would not have taken no for an answer.

So 4 out of 10, Helen.And for our prospective boot licker, 0.

Labour wouldn't have sent troops to Iraq even if they did find weopens of mass destruction. Her comment about if National been in government NZ would have lost 60 troops. What a stupid statement to make. Of course if you are going to send troops to a war torn country, you will lose some. Bring on November.

Cheers!

Helen I think your head is like a pollies mouth, full of what I pass in the wc. Gutless looser would have never agreed with WW2 in Europe or Japan. Wake up!!!!!!
