Best New Year's Eve Fireworks in NZ?

I went to Sydney's fireworks last year which was out of this world. Is there anything in NZ close to that?

um yea, the warehouse is a department store he forgot to mention, in case you didnt know, i dont think they would be as fancy as Sydneys fireworks, they have the one of the best displays in the world but from wht i have seen they dont do too bad in Auckland

lmao, unfortunately not...big brother has to have all the toys and doesn't like to share. We do sell fireworks packs at the warehouse though??!!

Alas, no fireworks in New Zealand would be anywhere near as spectacular as Sydney's displays.

Auckland or Wellington would be as good as we get here.

"The Warehouse", otherwise known as "the big red sheds" is a nationwide chain of cheap goods - they cover many categories but personally I would never describe them as a department store. Incidentally, in NZ fireworks for private use can only be bought during the ten days leading up to Guy Fawkes' Night (5th November).
