Calling all British curry lovers who live in Wellington, NZ - where can we get a good curry?? |
We've recently moved to Wellington and absolutely love it, there's just one problem... our favourite food is Indian, we're absolute suckers for curry. However having been to 3 curry houses in Wellington already, they have all been very poor and not a patch on the quality, taste and presentation we're used to, even in the dingiest back street curry house in Leeds! It seems that people don't know any better, because the restaurants in question have been quite busy, but we're hoping it's not the norm everywhere. Can you recommend a decent Indian restaurant anywhere in Wellington??

Just a suggestion - when asked if you want mild, medium or hot, specify 'indian hot' or 'british hot'. Not simply hot as this will be, invariably be 'kiwi hot'. (in fact, if your menu does not specify mild, medium, kiwi hot, uk hot, indian hot then you can probably consider the fact it won't be as hot).
