Can i get my wages this week?
Hi NZ :)
My question is this... I get paid fortnightly and every week i must take my time sheet into the office,i forgot to take last weeks in and i went to take it today but the pay clerk had gone home and the office lady said its too late as payments were done at 2.30pm (pay day is tomorrow) so can i recieve that 1 weeks wages this week at all or will i have to wait untill next fortnight?
I would think you would need to wait until your next scheduled payday, Ok it's a pain in the a.....but as you admit you made the first mistake in not handingin a time-sheet and if the pay section had to deal with many staff doing the same thing then probably nobody would get paid on time. However go and talk to the pay clerk and see if they can give you an advance from the till takings, it's worth a shot.

Sounds like you will be waiting, you have to get those time sheets in if you want to get paid.. its the same for me, if i dont get my time sheet in on time i have too wait untill the next pay run...Sux but oh well..

If there is not and it is going to cause you financial distress perhaps contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau concerning ways of obtaining financial assistance to tide you over.
