Can you visit rotarua from auckland easily?
i have 3 days in auckalnd coming up and wish to visit the volcanic park at rotarua - is this achievable?
definitely... there are lots of companies that do tours from auckland. or you can hire a car and drive there. rotorua is kind of spread out so you need to get a bus tour or a car. the best place i went to there was a huge national park area called Waitapo Thermal wonderland, which is out of town a bit. it had the best range of mud pools, geysers, etc....
