I'm looking for a place in the wellington area, preferably around porirua that's hiring, a job that would be well suited for a college student that i could work at after school and weekends. Something like a waitress, cashier person, retail sales assistant or something like that. |

Try Kmart in the Mall, or walk around the shops in the Mega Centre asking if they have a part-time job going. Whats the name of that big old house on the Cannon's Creek side of the motorway where they hold functions? Try there. What about all the restaurants at Mana or one of the boat clubs?
Oh and the Warehouse or one of the supermarkets. They all have to pay about $9.50/hr for college students but you might get $12.

Alot of stores just advertise on their window saying sales assistant wanted, apply within. They don't advertise any other way. Alot of stores have people regularly coming in to ask for work & dropping off their CV's. I've witnessed this myself while out shopping! |
