but there are parts of auckland that isnt that safe.
yes women do go for walks, even at night, like 10pm. i've seen. east auckland is pretty safe,but its south auckland thats not too good

Yes.Most of Auckland is perfectly safe. Parts of Auckland have bad crime statistics, and it certainly pays to be vigilant, but generally it is perfectly safe to live a normal life.Most children go to and from school walking, by bus or car - often because it is more convenient for their parents to drop them off on the way to and from work, or they have other commitments they need to get to. |

depends on where in auckland you are. it's generally fine. i walk home from school, my mum goes for walks at all times of the day, my little brothers also walk home from school. basically the media blows some of it out of proportion. however you do have to be wary, as with any city anywhere. |

No we dont live normal lives here in auckland, the crime rate is teribly high, so STAY AWAY" dont say i didnt warn ya.. its not safe, so stay where ever you are, your much better off.
Lots of crime, no women walk around freely , not safe for kids walking to school and its very dangerous..
