Well I know the population is increasing, but I mean do you think it is running out of European New Zealanders and Maoris? So many of them are moving here to Australia.
I picture NZ now, with no kiwis left, only a few immigrants and sheep haha.

Australia is a good option; NZ already occupies most of Bondi Beach & the Gold Coast. |

all the europens are going to oz and the Uk, more job oppertunitys etc. They are being replaced with Chinese and Indians. This is in Auckland anyway. Most of the time you walk down the main Street and all you see is a couple of kiwis and a whole lot of chinese. Though eventually the kiwis will return to New Zealand and the chinese will go to either oz or America, its just easier with their visas to transit in new zealand first. |

Sometimes when im downtown Auckland im like the only "kiwi" there... Otherwise you would think i was in China or something.
But im leaving NZ in June, to head to the United States for a few years. I just came back from the USA and Canada after 2 years and am ready to go back lol. |

Well yes we're running out of people... but the looks of the statistics its crazy!
I personaly might move to Australia only because my man is from there. Though (don't think i could stand the hot weather and snakes, spiders, bats and crows just wondering around) that is horrible.. i believe i would miss New Zealand to much lol, and i would like live back and forward the 2 countries somehow... Australia is totally over rated! but i know some NZers are always moving back from Australia. It just seems to be a better life over there to people, People perfer the climate, lifestyle of the citys, and the career oportunities to NZ.. But I think the amount of people going there are dropping.. (i hope)
So for that picture.. there will always be New Zealanders here.. because there are plenty that are true to NZ and i won't leave,
One day? i doubt it, but who knows what the future will hold.
On a different note, hopefully the NZ government will change some things to encourage more people to stay here insteed of moving to Aus. |
