Rubix Cube

Do you think New Zealand will run out of New Zealanders?

You hear all the time about the large amounts of kiwis leaving nz for Australia but a large amount of them return, a large amount aren't even New Zealanders (eg. from south africa or India).

Do you think New Zealand will run out of white European New Zealanders? John Key seems to be bringing alot of them back!

And also, I hear there are a lot of immigrants in Auckland. More immigrants then Europeans?

Tell me everything please!

Thanks in advance :)

Alot of NZers go overseas for their travels when they're in their 20's & return later on when they're ready to have kids as they realise NZ is a better & safer place to raise a family.

I don't know why NZers are moving to Australia, I was just there for 3 months & it's very expensive compared to NZ (especially Sydney). The salaries are NOT higher than here, unless you are in engineering, mining, or outdoor labouring jobs where you'd be working in intense heat all summer. If you want to buy a house you are much better off doing so in NZ as it's cheaper & if you move overseas you lose the $$ you got for your house on the exchange rate. Sydney has a much higher crime rate too & their traffic is even worse than Aucklands. I also find Australia very racist compared to NZ, they really don't like non white people for the most part - even on their tv programmes it's all white people reading the news & on the Australian soap opera's, etc. I found that hard to get used to compared to here.

In Auckland these days, according to some statistics I just looked up, there are 50% European & the rest are brown (Maori/Pacific Island, Indian, Fijian Indian or Asian). People in London & Sydney, etc complain about all the ethnic people there but in fact they only have about 30% compared to Auckland's 50%. I know a real estate agent in Papatoetoe, South Auckland & he says the only people buying houses in that suburb now are Indians (from India, not the usual ones we get from Fiji). You can definately notice the huge amount of Indians out there now & frankly they are quite snooty & serious (not happy go lucky friendly ones like the Fijian Indians).

I don't mind about all the ethnic people coming here but what I don't like is that it makes the workplace different. People from India & Asia don't understand our culture so they might look down on certain people in their workplace like gay people, adults who are still single, solo mothers, etc. In offices sometimes you are asked to evaluate your co workers (especially if they are looking at promoting one to management level) & I find what happens is the ethnic people will evaluate people unfairly if they don't like their morals. ie: they will pretend someone isn't good at their job when in fact they are & the real reason the ethnic person doesn't like them is because they are unmarried, etc. I have come across this time & time again in the last 8 years or so & frankly it's scary. They need to accept Europeans for what they are, just like we accept them. If they don't like it that we're unmarried, etc, then too bad, surely they must have realised they were entering a different culture when they came here.

Also yesterday I returned from Australia & there was a plane boarding for Wellington & everyone that got on was white. Then my plane to Auckland boarded & it was only about 10% white! Most of it was made up of Indians, but they weren't together as one group so it just shows you how many are here now. I don't mind as they seem nice but I don't like how some of them are in the workplace, like I said above.

You have to remember there are alot of white people from the UK that come here & now more than ever so I think the percentage of Europeans in Auckland will probably still stay around 50%.

Also I think alot of kiwi's will tire of Australia, especially as in the future their heat will get worse & there will be more water shortages & when they realise they can come back to NZ & gain on the exchange rate with anything they saved in Australia & may be able to sell their home in Australia & profit so much on the exchange rate that they can be mortgage free in NZ.

Fffff T

The Moriori people are the true New Zealanders and the Maoris killed and ate them so to answer your question, New Zealand ran out of
New Zealanders over 140 year ago.

So I think what you are really asking about is New Zealand based on the invading Maoris and Europeans and not the true indigenous people.

Several Asians are given visas or citizenship in New Zealand because they work for below the minimum wage which helps businesses especially in Auckland, for example cleaning businesses and coffee shops.

And both Labour and now National continue to encourage qualified
teachers from the United Kingdom to migrate to New Zealand to fill
the many teaching positions in New Zealand.

There is alot of data to analyse but really at the end of the day
it is up to the Immigration department what happens.

if they want to let in terrorists from Afghanistan Iraq, Iran, etc
because they claim they are not terrorists and have been persecuted when they actually are rich and free in their own countries, then good
on all the staff at New Zealand Immigration for being simpletons.

Ignorance is bliss they say!

Well there are still a fair few people in NZ and most are kiwis BUT are you thinking of just the main citys?
there are so many more people in NZ that are not just from the citys, that are kiwis as well.

Yes there are alot of immigrants in NZ
Yes there are alot of people in NZ that are not citizens etc

BUT they bring the money in which is what we want, they also are going into uni and not being bums on the street like alot of them here in Australia.

QLD RULES
NZ is already a lost cause.

That's why the European New Zealanders are living in OZ.

And I and one of them.
