Yeah probably one day, they did Aramoana and Arthur Alan Thomas and Stanley Graham. I think its part of the healing process. I'm not so sure he's innocent either, at one stage I was, it'll be interesting to see what the jury decide this time. |

I feel so sorry for David Bain. This is a bizarre situation that came out of the blue for him... Tim C read the book David and Goliath it is excellent. One day maybe David will need the closure and making a movie about what happened might be an eyeopener to the nation... |

nah don't think so, unless its like a documentary, then yeah i guess so |

the trail, the murder, the previous prosecutions is all a heap of confusion...perfect material for a movie. esp. for director Jim Sheridan who directed the non-fictional moive "In the Name of The Father" which kinda emphasises the idea of justice in the justice system - which is what, i would say, Bain is expriencing (that is of course if he is innocent).

I agree with 'Im just answering your question!'
I actually think the community put pressure on the family and caused the sequence of events that followed. They were an eccentric family that owned a prime piece of real estate, and lived like the Beverley Hillbillies, and weren't worried about junk on the section and keeping up with the Jones's. There was also malicious gossip spread by an ex-boyfriend, (who got dumped by the deceased sister), after the murders happened. The dead can't defend themselves. And all the gossips and bullies in the community have a lot of soul searching to do. (Which they will never do as they don't want to face the truth about themselves). |

Yep, Joe Karam and David Bain will be dining out on this one for a long time, The justice system screwed up with this case and i doubt that anyone but David will ever know the real truth,
The movie is more likely to be a tv doco but a full length movie would not surprise me. |

Most likely.... i mean it already is! one Tv 1's news 24/7! im getting tired of it... just lock the bugger up.....But anyway yea David Bain's life will be a movie....its so big it has to be. |

Never fear, KiwiJoey's here!

I hope not - I have just about had enough of it. As you can probably gather, I grow tired quickly of the same things being in the news each day.
And congratulations on having this question make the front page of Y!A NZ. |

I think it may well be made into a TV movie but thats about it. And I think it will be made to be more about our screwed up justice system etc as opposed to the incident itself. Because most of the evidence has been destroyed surely they cant expect the jury to make a valid verdict based on pure hearsay.
PS - David Bain and supporters were the ones who requested a retrial, they knew he would have to face seeing/hearing everything all over again.
David Bain is a man who is being accused for killing his all of his family members and making it look like a murder-suicide (his father being the murderer) for more info on the news check out www.courtnews.co.nz |

Probably not. Unless it's a TVNZ TV movie.
I think they won't make another one after 'beyond reasonable doubt'. |

Only a tv movie and then only if he is found innocent.
He does not a very good defense when it comes to his father
killing himelf.
I always thought the father killed everyone and David came home
and shot his father because he was so shocked. |
