Does it snow in New zealand on ground/ sea level, if yes then Where?
not very often at all, however just this weekend gone by there was a huge dropping of snow all around the Canterbury and Hurunui regions. Both Christchurch city, Timaru and Dunedin got snow in their backyards, it was all cleared up by the next afternoon though, whereas inland towns like Hanmer Springs got a couple of inches that would have taken a few days to clear. winter 2007 Christchurch got no snow to ground level, so hard to predict.

All of the South Island at times, and the Central Plateau in the North Island - Doesn't happen often though.

About one day a year in Christchurch and Dunedin would get a bit, but not really any further north than Christchurch around sea level. There have even been icebergs floating past Dunedin in the last couple of years, but thats another story about that global warming thing.
