Duty Managers NZ?
I am wanting to know what sort of hourly rate other kwis are on who have their Duty Managers and work in a liquorstore. I am trained also to take sole charge of the store while the Manager is away. So in short I can do pretty much everything the manager can. Anyone else who is in the same situation as me, can you please let me know what sort of hourly rate you are on? I just want to see how the wages in this town compare with other parts of NZ. Thanks.
The hourly rate period for majority of the jobs in NZ is appalling. The line of work your in isn't worth the effort for the income you get over there. If your thinking more finanically, then I suggest you pack up & move to Australia which is what alot of kiwis are doing. Alot of kiwis I know that have jumped the ditch have at least once discussed this point:
"Why bust your *** in our cold weather for peanuts"??
