Do you feel sorry and do you agree with the New 3 strikes and your out and no parole for the worst offenders and do you think you should get tough on crime, won't that offened many ethnic groups or something? wouldn't that infrindge human rights or something?

I live in Auckland and I don't really pay attention to the news as I have never been the victim of crime here (apart from when my pushbike was stolen waaaaaaaaaaaaa). I do agree with it however. It will help to lower the crime rate and keep us happy! |

I believe that to be true just like that guy from Waitakere said NZer's pay their taxes, the prison are under our law, the decision we make with our criminals should just that our decision.
Look for a long time we have allowed people to get away with it time again. It's about time our law got their fingers out and said that's enough.. 3 strikes you're out, end of story. |

I agree with the New 3 strikes & your out for the worst offenders because it's time to get tough on crime. I don't think it's an human right to waste tax payers money by staying in prison but it is time we started looking at the capital punishment again like the U.S. Too much money is wasted keeping offenders inside so bring back the death sentence. Drugs is getting worse, crime raising, human rights or offence for ethnic groups doesn't matter if your loved one is being hurt. I think there should be tougher prevention strategies in crime & more focus on mental illness for criminals. There must be something wrong upstairs if crime is just getting worse by the day. |
