A NEW CONCEPT – A NEW INNOVATION

You can watch your satellite television on your Desk Top Personal Computer. No need

to have dish antenna, a low noise block converter (LNB) and a receiver or decoder. Get

away from the cumbersome installation. Sit back and watch your satellite television on

your personalized PC. How is it? How do you like it?

Just follow a few basics and you will know what it is.

Computer Configuration

Your PC should be at least Pentium 3 and the better would be Pentium 4. The minimum

RAM speed should be 128 Mbytes. A slightly higher would be ideal. Most computers

meet these requirements. Not to bother yourself.

Internet Connection

You need to have a Broadband internet connection. The speed should not be less

than 512Kbytes. Why? Because, the transmission would be clear, faster and

smoother. Got it? Good.

PCTV Card

Your monitor is the screen. Your CPU would receive the signals, interpret them and

transmit to the screen. For this you need PCTV Card. You can install this internally

to the mother board using the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) slot. For the

external installation you need USB port. If you are not using the USB port, then look

for adapter.

Adons or Options

To enhance your viewing experience, it is better to install top-grade graphics card

and sound card. A sub-woofer or a theater system, compatible with our computer,

would be ideal.

A good way to watch satellite TV on your PC. May not be the best. The technology

Is advancing at break-neck speeds. You may find your TV screen connected to your

CPU. Now you can access satellite TV on your PC using software.

I prepared this write up for someone. I hope this benefits you.
