No not really. I lived there for 11 years. There a few people who act like they are homeless, like Speedy. He is very often seen drunk in the middle of town with a plastic bag that he spins around pretending to be a helicopter. But no, most people who have low socio economic status are living in low rent flats or Housing New Zealand houses.

No Dunedin does not have a large homeless population - Auckland and Wellington will have more.

No, not many homeless in Dunedin. It's far too cold in winter to survive!
