My family are needing a little more cash to make ends meet, so we've decided to rent out our large sleepout. We've advertised the room and had responses from both people wanting board and language schools needing homestay. Basically, we're looking for someone who can pay bills on time, but fit in with our family life too. What experiences have others had with both board and homestay? Which one do you recommend and why? Both good and bad stories please.
I would love to give you a very indepth answer, but bit to busy. Just letting you know, popular desicion would lead you to try homestays, preferably older ones, eg: 15+. Homestays allmost allways pay on time and allways pay alot. They dont wish for muxh and the most trouble they may cause is simply trying to drive them where they need to go. They are quiet, polite and and easy. However N.Z renters can often be a lot more trouble and they often disrespect the rules and leave you worse off than you were before-hand.
