There are two very nearby and a few motels. Your best bet is the Brentwood in Kemp St less than 5 minutes by complementary shuttle from the airport (you have to drive around to the other side of the Airport and its about a block away from the runway). Its a nice place I stayed there a couple of times. When you book tell them you're coming at 1am and they will come and pick you up.

I would take a cab to the city. Stay at YHA hostel or a nicer hotel if you want. In the morning you can probably get the shuttle to take you back to the airport.

None. No hotels.
There are a few motels.
The City (where there's heaps of Hotels of international standard) is but 9 minutes away by cab. At that time of the day it may be even quicker.
Check out Hotels in the yellow pages. If you find one with a Seatoun or Miramar address, it'll be in close proximity to the airport, but travelling time to it may be even longer than time taken to get to the City because of the unique way the Airport is situated across the entire width of the peninsular.
