New Zealand
It is illegal in New Zealand to sell cigarettes and tobacco products to persons aged under 18. It is also illegal for a person over 18 to give a person under 18 cigarettes or tobacco products in a public place. It is not, however, illegal for a person under 18 to purchase cigarettes (i.e. only the shop-owner is prosecuted), and there is no restriction on the possession and consumption of tobacco for those under 18. [Smoke-free Environments Act 1990, Smoke-free Environments Amendment Act 2003]

New Zealand - There are extensive laws prohibiting alcohol purchase by any person under 18 years of age. Minors can drink alcohol in a public place if they are accompanied and it is provided by their parent or guardian; this includes licensed premises, such as restaurants, and at private social gatherings, but excludes designated restricted areas in pubs and bars, where persons under the age of 18 are not permitted.

18 for both, but for alcohol, if you are younger you are allowed to drink it, assuming you are either a) under supervision of your parents in a restaurant or b)on private property under supervision of your parents

Cigarettes: 18 & over

Alcohol: Pretty much 18 & over too

**************************************...

They have restrictions regarding under 18 buyers for both products, but i won't go into detail w/that

megan.jones_march1990
you must be 18 or over to do that, if your 18 or over there are still restrictions eg. not supling minors with that stuff.
