Their offers change daily, so keep checking! I know it is still Air NZ, but it's NZ, they don't have much competition with airlines that's why they can charge what they want.

Thats the problem with NZ..there is a monopoly in areas and flying is generally expensive....the only other airlines in Nz are between the main centers eg qantas ( soon to be replaced by jetstar) and pacific blue. Your only option is to get to christchurch and then fly to auckland.
