Well it depends on what you want to see i.e. Snow or Flowers etc?

If it is snow, go June, July or August. If it is the flowers etc you want to view go about September, October, November. It never really gets hot in NZ so you should be right.

I went in November last year and everywhere you looked, you just had to get out your camera! It was still a little cold though.

Enjoy your trip.
