the bus you want is the duniden to christchurch bus wich does stop at oamaru it is a daily service on the southern link shuttle, departs oamaru3. 45 gets into christchurch 7 oclock ive caught it several times, the bus drivers mum and and dad are english, and he meets them there every day, phone 03,3588,355 i always knew this old bus time table would come in handy

Please don't report me for the first one- it is for real! It refers to the fact that it is a no frills service. I pointed out to them some time ago that it might cause problems on the web but they said it was too well established to change.

they have a list of shuttles and buses that run between Oamaru and Christchurch, so you should be able to pick one that is the price you want to pay and goes at a time that suits.

Give the Oamaru information"I-site" a ring and they'll give you the timetables and will book you as well.

La Gonda Tearooms on the corner of Eden St and Thames Highway ( main st in Oamaru) is the main pick up/drop off point for buses in Oamaru.
You might be able to book from there as well. I know intercity and atomic shuttles go here.......that wolud be you best bet
