I am going skiing in New Zealand's Queenstown. Do most hotels provide hot water bottles?

Most accommodation places in NZ have electric blankets so no need for a hot water bottle.

However if you want a hot water bottle they can be bought in supermarkets for a few dollars.

Driver T
No, none do.
However, you can buy them cheap enough,- only a couple of dollars.
All hotels will have electric blankets on their beds. Do NOT use a hot water bottle on a bed fitted with an electric blanket, it's a shocking thing to do.

Most hotels will have electric blankets, and a hottie can be bought for a fiver or there abouts at the supermarket.

Bring your own. Although NZ is considered archaic - most Hotels have central heating and heating pads (aka electric blankets) included in the bedware

No, most hotels with not provide hot water bottles, but most of the hotels there have great heating systems and also some have electric blankets. Just call the hotel ahead of time and they will let you know what they provide.

Sugar
they should
when i went there in march, the hotels were very acommadating (i know i didn't spell that right!)
you should go to the ice bar while your there!
i didn't go but i went and checked it out
make sure you make reservations though...
it's a lot of fun!
good luck on the slopes!

You will need to buy one at the supermarket about $5.00

No. However the standard sheep that comes with every room warms the bed quite nicely.

Even if the hotel does not supply them, hot water bottles are the sort of cute, archaic thing that NZ does well and I am sure you will be able to buy one.

bugg
geeze they only cost like 5 dollars why cant you just buy one?

waltzsingmatilda2
Hi,Cant help you there, New Zealand is thousands of kl from Australia, and also we are no part of NZ except for Bondi.
