I was born in Palmerston North and now live in Australia.
Yes I love NZ! It is one of the greatest countries on earth!
Where else can you surf and ski in the same day? Where else can you get around the whole country within a day with little traffic delay? New Zealand has the best scenery in the world! Good beaches, friendly people and great food!
I get very upset when I hear people complain about NZ. What is there to complain about? Too small? Not many people? Isn't that a good thing?
For a small country NZ has heaps to do! That's why tourists flock there.
Good things about NZ:
1. Beaches
2. Scenery
3. People
4. Food
5. Fresh air
6. Not too much traffic (maybe not Auckland).
7. Great beaches.
8. Good skiing
So yeah! NZ rocks! :)

yep i certainly do!! I've been to 13 other countries (throughout UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia) and NZ takes the cake! it will be home forever for me and the best place to raise kids. we seriously have the BEST food ever as well! and great wine, NZ is just great :-) us kiwis are some of the luckiest people on earth |

I lived there for 20 years - loved it, South Island is the best though - especially Nelson and all the top of the South Island. |

Yes, sure I do. I have always admired the serenity and tranquility of the landscape of NZ ....since my school days. Only last year, at the age of 51, I had the chance of breathing in the fresh mountain air of Aotea. It was like a dream come true.... and along the way, besides the hills and mountains, I also admired the country houses, sheeps and cows grazing on the hill tops. I really hope I'll be able to go there again especially the South Island. |

The people were nice to tourists.
The scenery is gorgeous.
I have toured almost all of the USA and there is parts of NZ that remind me of every place I have been in the states.
Mountains, glaciers, beaches, palm trees..... Penguins..... Whales... NZ is great! |

The weather is nice, that's about all that can be said about New Zealand. I've lived here on and off since 1985 and in that time NZ has gone downhill dramatically. Crime rate in Auckland is 10 times the crime rate of NY city! The Govt. has become almost a Nazi state. Racism aginst Caucasians is rife. Sexism against men is even more prevalent. Low wages have chased away all the good workers and replaced them with poorly trained immigrants who cannot speak English. Cost of living is well and truely out of this world. Roads are not much better that dirt roads, that includes the major motorways. The only thing good about the place is the weather, period. |
