I want to walk up Auckland's Sky Tower - can I do that or only use lift?
I know on special running events etc it is possible to climb the steps but I want to know if it is open to the public? Additional Details OK - I found the answer - normally it's only open for firefighter training and events etc - but if you want to climb up the steps as member of public a security guard must accompany you so turn up, and ask who would be willing to take you - maybe you can offer them some bear! Normal cost of reaching sky deck applies.
