I would like to visit NZ: can you help me?

I'm a french girl, and I'm very interested in visiting such a country.
Can you advice me? I'm interested in coming in July or August (I suppose it's winter for you during these months. What is the weather like?).
And I would like also to know how to settle in NZ? I'm a chartered accoutancy student.

Thx.

NZ is a great country to live in!!
You'll have some research to do to see if you qualify to live and work in NZ
Winter in NZ, yes it's cold, but NZ is one of the few countrys that do have four seasons so it is great in the long run. Be prepared for heaters on! It's colder the more south you go. Winter is great for skiing of course though ... see http://www.snow.co.nz

Yes, it is winter in July or August - but in the north winter is very mild (although it can be very wet).

It is a big step to emigrate to NZ - you should go on a working holiday first. French citizens can have a 12 month working holiday in NZ if you meet the following requirements:

You must:
have a French passport that is valid for at least three months after your planned departure from New Zealand
be at least 18 and not more than 30 years old
not bring children with you
hold a return ticket or sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket*
have a minimum of NZ$4,200 available funds to meet your living costs while you’re here
meet our health and character requirements
hold medical and comprehensive hospitalisation insurance for the length of your stay
be coming to New Zealand to holiday, with work being a secondary intention for your visit
not have been approved a visa or permit under a Working Holiday Scheme before.

Immigrating permanently to NZ is very difficult for a student. It would be much easier if you qualify in France & have some work experience in France (although this isn't always necessary).

Probably the easiest way for you to emigrate to NZ would be to get a job in France with a large multi-national company - such as Publicis. Publicis own several different companies that operate in New Zealand & could make it much easier to move to NZ if you transferred to one of their NZ companies.

Check out the NZ immigration website for more info.

o yes that our winter time may till august can be cold, the south island cooler than the north some parts have heavy frost , bit i nice day about 10 degree snow in some places too north is abit warmer auckland can get up about 17 17 degree but it rains a hell of alot ,

Shaun M520
The weather is pretty good, although this year it was heavily raining half of the time. In the south it snows some times as well in the south.

You must go through alot of processes to get here, check out NZ immigration.
