Internet in New Zealand?
Hey, I'll be in New Zealand soon. I never been there before and I would like to know if there are internet caffes in Bay Of Plenty (Te Puke) and if there are libaries where I could use the internet for free (I know that in a libary in Auckland the internet is for free).
Plus, I would like to know how much internet caffes usually costs.
Thanks. Additional Details puke bob - the adress you gave me says 'Computer Applications(Pacific Elec)' you sure its an internet cafe ?
I think Auckland library is the only library in NZ that provides free internet services.
I work for Christchurch city libraries and we charge $3.00 for an hour and that rate applies for anything part thereof i.e 20 minutes is $1.00
This is a fairly standard rate. Access to .co.nz websites is free.
Tauranga libraries internet service is $4.00 per hour of $1.00 for 15 minutes

there is also a library in Te Puke
130 jellicoe Street but it doesn't mention that internet facilities are available there.
I would say you shouldn't expect to pay more than $5 an hour for internet services.
