Yes September is regarded as the beginning of Spring. Summer regarded as starting beginning of December, we are in the middle of Autumn at the moment

The weather doesn't have much to do with the seasons, which are predetermined and marked on some calenders as starting and finishing within certain months.
September is regarded as Spring - last year, this year, next year.
But the weather in September may lead some people to think otherwise. We'll have to wait and see.
