New Zealand Immigration is very procative in encouraging "skilled" and "educated" migrants into the country....so come on down , I'd welcome ya....
Seriously my American b/f has been here 3yrs and he doesnt have a college degree.....but...he did work ( labouring).....so wasnt dependant on the Government here to support him etc...

Regardless of the degree, are you eligible for a Working Holiday Visa to NZ? It might be a good way for you to get a
'feel' for the country before moving permanently.
