Yes, New Zealand is a stunning country.
I suggest you travel to NEw Zealand on a holiday first. Explore the different towns and islands before making your choice.
If you were to live in New Zealand I suggest you live on the north island because it is much warmer than the south island, however the south island is alot prettier and less populated.
NEW Zealand is absolutely breathtaking, a true country filled with beautiful scenery and landscape.
If you need a job in New Zealand consider teaching skiing or snowboarding.
If you can't ski, take a year to learn before teaching. It is a ver rewarding job and you make a fair bit of money.
Good Luck |

For most people, yes!!!
But it's not EVERYONE'S cup of tea.
I'm from there and I love it and love going back there. I know it's not perfect, it is a bit of a joke... and in many ways a bit of a sh-thole (most of NZ lives in cities, and they're nothing special) the PRO's still far outweigh the CON's.
But I still suggest you spend about a month or so in the city you're thinking about moving to before definitely making up your mind. And give yourself an exit strategy in case it really doesn't work out. It's a good idea to get in with a recruitment company to try and sort out job intervies, or even better a job, before you move here too.
At least come here for a holiday, that's one NZ experience where you can't go wrong.
GOOD LUCK! |

Aslong as you dont move into the wrong parts, south Auckland for example, is somewhere you should probably avoid, New Zealand can be a lovely place to live.
You would have to do your research, maybe visit the cities that you like the sound of and see what would suit you best. |

It depends on which country you're coming from. For most people it can be a huge culture shock. It's a small, clean and friendly country, but it also has it's down side. The winters can be awfully cold (and wet!). For the average earner, the cost of living is rather high, most people work at two jobs. The housing standards are very low and most people cannot afford to own a home. Crime and drugs, are also on the increase. |
