Kids op shops in Queenstown, New Zealand?
i will be traveling around NZ for a few weeks with my 9 month old and would like to buy a pram and other kids gear from a second hand shop in Queenstown.
where is a good one?
do they sell prams? (some op shops in Australia can't due to safety regulations)
I know the Salvation Army shop here in Dunedin sells pretty much anything, but I don't live in Queenstown, so I'm not sure what might be available there. But, the Queenstown Salvation Army thrift shop might be worth contacting - 03 442 9661 (or 64 3 442 9661 with your international calling code in front) - if they don't have what you're looking for, they should be able to tell you if any other places might
A lot of people sell their second hand stuff on Trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz
There are restrictions on selling cots (they have to meet the safety standard, but you can sell second hand ones) - but I am not aware of anything that would stop second hand shops here selling prams.
