Making something stay on beach?
My friend and I are having a competition to see who can make something like a fencing post or concrete block, stay on Greymouth beach NZ for one month. It is a shingle/sand beach and exposed to 3 metre waves every day. Any ideas? Additional Details I could drive the post into the sand but I'm not sure if it would still get taken out by the surf. The concrete block would probably be to heavy to carry down there though.
Try drilling a hole through it and stick a dirty big stake through it, as deep as possible into the sand. I agree with the first answer; the Moeraki Boulders have stayed put since before Pontius was a pilot because they're heavy.

Get a really big slab of concrete dont put it near the high tide mark put it high up the beach
