Hi, well Id say Wellington as it is the capital of NZ but not over populated like Auckland or Christchurch.. it also has a stunning harbour thats truely beautiful.. theres around 300,000 people in Wellington. Its also located in the middle of nz so easy acess around the country. I live here and still love it.. Good luck |

Well I've been to California and I live in Southland NZ. I like this part of the country. Cool summers, mild winters, the most affordable property in NZ, a wide range of excellent local food (oysters, crayfish, abalone, mussels, venison, mutton, cheeses, ice cream, everything except tropical fruit), every outdoor attraction you can think of, a shortage of skilled workers like you and best of all a low population density. Tourist attractions like Stewart Island, Milford Sound, Curio Bay, Queenstown, Wanaka, Te Anau and Manapouri are all day trips from where we live. |
