You are probably best advised to start with the New Zealand High Commission in London (assuming you are in the UK) or the New Zealand HC or Embassy in your home country. They will be able to give you the legal lowdown on visas and all that jazz, which is the most important thing you need.

The New Zealand government also has a dedicated immigration site which provides a wider range of information.

Good luck in your quest, I do know you will need sufficient points to get into the country. Don,t try entering illegally or you will get thrown out, it's not like Britain where you will be welcomed with open arms.
