We are wanting to immigrate to New Zealand (for obvious reasons :). . . What are the average salaries for a Travel consultant (10yrs experience) and a project manager (15yrs experience).
If you have any info, that would be great.
I know there is a shortage of male travel consultants right now...but experience always helps one get a job anywhere...goodluck!

Regarding being a travel consultant – Flight Centre used to pay a minimum of 40k per year, and then have quite strong commission requirements. I assume the base salary (the $40,000 I have referred to) has gone up since then but perhaps not by much.
The following is a link to Flight Centre’s Recruitment Page. You may want to contact them. Most of the page is targeted towards people new to the industry but I am sure if you contacted someone they could help!

Pretty good. the PM with that experience will be looking around 100k, + or - a bit. Not sure about a travel agent, but just contact a few recruitment companies before you arrive. But be aware, there are plenty of dangerous "blecks" around here also, so I don't know if it would be much of an improvement!
