It's good. Apparently it's expensive to buy things compared to the rest of the world. Yes it's interesting place. You'll be able to find a job. They're very short of cherry pickers at the moment.

To the guy above, minimum wage is $11.75.

its a cool place to live climate is good anybody can stand it not to warm and not to cold lovely scenery mostly in the south island north island is more busy but south island is relaxed and lovely lakes and beautiful mountainsheaps of scenes from narnia and lord of the ring were filmed about 1 hour out of christchurch the largest city in the south island with a population just over 350 thousand lovely place to live

Work is easy just apply and make sure to apply quickly the minimim wage is $12 an hour for adults which is to bad at all!

New Zealand is a beautiful place with opportunities for those who don't mind giving it their all or getting their hands dirty. As a student if you wanted to study in New Zealand you'd have more time to seek work and experience a small part of kiwi life.

As a Kiwi I am biased!, our country is more than beautiful it is breathtaking!!! and we don't have internal strife such as civil wars, terrorism and the scenery is magical. Unfortunately if you don't have any work experience then you will only be admitted as a visitor for a max stay of 3 mths which means you cannot work here legally. There are some selected countries that allow you to work in NZ doing seasonal work but this is based on a quota system allowed for that particular country and each country has different quotas .......check out www.immigration.govt.nz. the website will tell you everything you need to know before coming to NZ.....Hey good luck
