If you can only go one place goto Oz. There's a lot more diversity and it's much warmer. I'm about to goto New Zealand and we're packing sweaters.

I was under the impression that New Zealand no longer existed since they all moved here...nah Kiwis are cool both good for a holiday but ive never known anyone who lived in New Zealand willingly

Absolutely NEW ZEALAND!!! Everyone I know would have spent more time in NZ than OZ! Especially the South Island.

It depends what you want, both are stunning countries. I'd choose New Zealand for a holiday because it is more compact and there is huge diversity within the country (mountains, volcanoes, cities, glaciers, geysers, beaches and much more) so you can fit a hell of a lot into one holiday. Australia is an amazing place with some of the best cities and beaches in the world, but it is vast so you would have to pick one part of it for a holiday unless you had more than a month to spare.
