New zealand- the best eva?

This country is the best. I love every thing about it. I even love the car hoons who put some humor into the place apart from when they loose control and killl people.

I love the hills, the people and the accent

I find kiwis are friendlier than the aussies (my home country)

I also like the element of crazy people here in nz. lol. The other day a lady came into my work and began sniffing the walls!

Who else loves it here. Any weird kiwi stories?

I grew up in Picton, At High School they taught us to Shoot Guns(course run with/by Police) ,Scuba Dive,Ride Motor Bikes off road, Skipper a Boat, Hangi's and Toa Ara! Maori fighting arts. How many Schools can claim that. And this was part of normal curriculum,Modular Studies.

A Normal weekend as a young fella growing up there consisted of Pig Hunting ,Diving for seafood, mountain Biking, Staying in a batch up the Marlborough Sounds....

A Funny Story!

We had a Cruise Ship come into Picton and there was heaps of tourist up town , then my mate rides into town on horse back with a rifle on his back, towing another horse behind him with a wild pig on its back, goes up the main street in town to the local fish & chip shop , ties his horses out the front goes in gets his fish & chips, them rides of into the sunset like it was nothing out of the ordinary.

The tourist loved it! Some couldnt believe what they had seen!.

I agree with you. I've moved to NZ a while ago, and keep realizing with some surprise that, for the first time in my life, I really want to stay in a country for the rest of my life.
Well, France came pretty close.

Weird kiwi stories?
Hm, let's see.
I have a neighbour who keeps lending me things. Strangely though, I don't need anything. He just always shows up with stuff he generously agrees to leave with me for as long as I want it, and somehow, I find it impossible to refuse, even though I don't know what to do with any of it.
I now have a bicycle, a few boxes of British television plugs and cables, a manual lawn mower, and a pile of UFO documentaries on DVD.
The guy just keeps coming back, stands in my kitchen for an hour, shows me top secret documents on alien conspiracy and talks about cables, and leaves me with a Victorian gutter cleaner or a stuffed lizard as he crawls home through his hedge.
I love it here.
