Nice place in Auckland? |
I'm looking for a place where me and my boyfriend can spend time with on my birthday. I was thinking to go bungy jump in Taupo with him, but we have trouble to find a cheap van for rent. If you want a more relaxing holiday you can ferry to Waiheke Island from downtown Auckland. There isn't much to do in the way of bungy jumping or anything adventurous though. But if you get nice weather the beaches are nice and there are some really nice walks. Also if you want to stay in Auckland you could go bungy jumping off the skytower. Mt Maunganui is also a really nice spot if you don't want to drive all the way to Taupo from Auckland. The Mt has a really nice beach and lots of nice restraunts. |

Matakana is a really nice place with lost of things to do, it's only an hour from Auckland so not to far.
Recently it's become a bit of a mecca of things to do, it's a really nice town. |

well you can catch a ferry over waiheke,or motutapu island,rangitoto island.otherwise go on a yauht with just yous two and have dinner and a night cruise....or if yous want to relax go to mission bay,they have a nice view of the city plus theres alot of cafes their if yous enjoy a coffee or tea.yeah bungee jump off the sky tower or the harbour bridge....auckland zoo??kelly tarltons???if yous want to see animals or mamals.OR go on a helicopter ride?
and end your night at the skycity orbit restraunt or seafood buffet for dinner...thats just ma thoughts

I agree Waiheke Island is great, hire a scooter.
You can't bungy their but you can sky dive, it's a great view all the way down.
Devonport is also nice if it's raining outside, there is some nice cafes and bars.
