Places to live in auckland between airport & the city?
What areas whould you recommend to live in auckland that will be between the airport & city?
wanting to rent an apartment that is not overly priced in a safe and nice area?
You could choose to live in Onehunga, Royal Oak, Ellerslie, One Tree Hill, Greenlane, Mangere Bridge is near the airport and motorway but doubt you would find a apartment there.New market, Remuera, Epsom, Parnell. These last four are near the city so more expensive locations, but more likely to have apartments. Mt Eden would be more affordable perhaps and there are some apartments. Mt Roskill is on the way and a medium area. Not so sure about apartments there.
If you check the Trade Me Real Estate section you might get an idea of prices - they also have a flats section you could look at.You will need to consider where you are working and what the transport options are. This is a major in Auckland. Parking in the city is very expensive. The nearer you can be to your work if you work normal hours , the closer I would try to live.
