Places to shop for clothing in New Zealand??

Places to shop for clothing in New Zealand??
I am moving to New Zealand from the United States in January and I was wondering where to shop for clothing. Here I like Gap, Abercrombie, and Old Navy in terms of style and pricing and I was wondering what places over there are similar in price and style.

Shopping mall clothes basically. As in any decent shopping mall should have a fair selection.

Both Abercrombie and Old Navy are similar to a store here called "Country Road".

Gap - hmm, perhaps Just Jeans or Jeanswest would be similar. In fact, thinking about it, Just Jeans would be very similar to Gap, just on a smaller scale.

You know what you should do? Just wander around your local mall when you get here. You will find what you are looking for hopefully.

If you like Abercrombie and Gap, I would suggest places like Lee, Glassons, Jay Jays, Just Jeans & Country Road.

To be honest, NZ is quite expensive compared to the US when it comes to clothing, and not many stores are exactly like Abercrombie and that, but there is a wide range of stores that I'm sure will cater to your tastes.

Hope that helps!

I would say that all those brands ( I'm certain we do not have Gap) are expensive here....but then I never buy those brands because they are so prciey.

You will not have the range of stuff that you do in the US, but you will get to know the different shops after a while ( I had a similar problem when moving to the UK)...depending on what you are like. You seem to like high end stuff, which as I pointed out will be lots more expensive here, but there are other options I guess and more reasonably priced clothes in other shops.
