If you have children, and they have been accepted as migrants, it would be possible for them to apply to bring their parents.

Grant M
In general, migrants are expected to be net contributors to the economy, Older people at the end of their working life and soon to enter retirement and higher health costs are discouraged. Family reunions are a different case and allow older migrants

I would expect the question is - what can you contribute to your new country? That would not be decided on age but it would count against you.

Cameron H
It is impossible

What I know many people who are over 55 do is spend summer in New Zealand, and their own summer in their country. Where we have our batch, about half the houses are used this way. I think this is relativly easy to oraganise. BTW if you have a bit of money, that doesn't count against you ;)

I dont think so, I think that would be under a special condition (refugees) my grandparents moved over last year, at 68 & 70, unless it has changed since then.
I would ring them and find out..just to be safe.
