hi all.
my partner and i have assigned each other a 5000 word essay,just to keep the old mind active. Mine is about the ports of Auckland and i cant seem to find any good websites naming all the ports and islands surrounding them and what they offer etc. Does anyone know any good websites? i googled it but couldn't find exactly what i needed. Ummm... you could start with a good map/satellite photo site, for the geography of the place. When people speak of the Ports of Auckland, they usually mean the business which operates three commercial ports in the Auckland region. Try their website - http://www.poal.co.nz/

You don't say where you are from, but NZers who were to write about PofA would also google words like Devonport, Pukatutu,Whenuapai, Colonial Sugar (CSR), Mechanics Bay, Whau, Paritutu, Mangere, Hobsonville, Laingholm, Cornwallis, Nippon Clipon, Manukau, Rangitoto, Waitemata - all of which should give you some information as to the background of the PofA.
