Ignore those first three answers. They give an impression that Americans are not popular here - obviously just tying to be "smart" as in "smarta---" but showing they aren't smart as in knowledge because there is no angst about Americans - only just some against American politics by a minority.
Pros: small country, great scenery, temperate climate, interesting things to do and see
Cons: Just the rain in some parts at some times of the year.
Economy no problem to visitors
a problem to those thinking of staying.

pro: the houses are cheaper than mojor cities in europe, the people are really nice, the climate is very good, the enviroment is the best in the world--it contrasts with snowy mountains in the south island with sandy hot beaches in the north island.
cons: its far, the price of talking on phones costs, the food costs more, the interent i slower.

The pluses in going to NZ are ,you will see a Country made in paradise if you travel through it. The people are friendly it is The adventure Capital of the world. The minuses are The wages are not so good and they have a lot of wind and rain.
