R S L Clubs In New Zealand?
When I was in Australia some years ago I got to know about RSL Clubs.
At these places you can have a damn good meal at a modest prices.
Are there any places like these in New Zealand? As I will be visiting NZ soon.
yes there are, however in NZ we call them RSAs Returned Services Association most do have restaurants and at modest prices however smaller towns are run mainly by families or volunteers so I imagine there will be service on certain days only, check out the link below and click on find an RSA this will help find an RSA closest to where you are visiting.

There are also Working mens clubs and Cosmopolitan clubs throughout the country again you may find they are also modest in price, I have included a link to the NZ phone book as they are not all under the same club banner
