Presumably, you are referring to 'Thames', which is at the base of the Coromandel.
I know it may seem a stupid question but have you tried telephoning the number you have?? It appears to be a valid number - the area code 7 is correct for that district and 867 is the correct starting numbers for that area (which is actually a place called Turua, just outside Thames). It may be that members of her family still use the number or the people who are now there may know where they went.
The previous answerer is correct in saying that the NZ white pages don't list anything for a Scott family in Shellbank Road. However, a 'D.S.Scott' is listed under Piako Road, which is the road opposite Shellbank on the other side of Bush Road. Coincidence?? Or, more likely, are they related in some way?? |
