South African going to New Zealand for 2 weeks........What should i expect?
It depends on what you want.
If you want adventure, jet boats, abseiling, skiing, tramping etc, NZ is the place.
It is winter at present so skiing is going off right now.
Fishing, is year round, excellent charter tours available.
Public transport is limited to cities, otherwise it's taxi or car rental.
Plenty of diverse cultures for dining.
Night life plenty, but like other countries, don't display your cell phones etc.
Are you coming for the rugby?
Good luck.

You can expect to have less Biltong and lots of fresh seafood.
You can expect to leave NZ smiling.
You can expect to find very relaxed locals who know all the good fish n chip shops.
You can expect load of fun and adventure.
You can expect to pick up a bit of NZ slang like "sweet" and "choice".
You can expect to have a good laugh.
You can expect to drink some good wine and beer (we even sell Nederberg in the supermarkets...)
I could go on for hours about what you can expect in NZ but truth be told, you can only expect one thing and that is - you won't be disappointed.

Depends on where your going. New Zealand is the best country. Its clean and green and has friendly people. we have many tourist attractions in places such as Queenstown and Rotorua. Also try out the Sky Tower in auckland

I have worked with a few from SA. One thing I have noticed is how "tight" they seem to be. I don't mean as in money but more being very formal. We are very relaxed about most things. If you come here don't be in a hurry and you will get a bit of lip about rugby. As you guys have always been the respected enemy when it comes to rugby most will welcome you.

It's really cold at the moment so make sure you have warm clothing!
