Stopovers-Hong Kong to Christchurch, New Zealand?

I'm travelling Hong Kong via New Zealand and I noe the flight is 11 hrs and 15 mins. However, i want to know if there are any stopovers like in South East Asia or whatever. Also, is a inflight TV for everyone included considering its a long journey

Thanks, and i think the airline will be either Qantas or Cathay Pacific.

As far as I am aware, Cathay Pacific fly direct to NZ from Hong Kong, or NZ to Hong Kong, with no stop-over in Australia. Qantas, however, have more stop-overs. It's always best to check with your travel agent.
Nowadays, all international flights have TVs and other on-board entertainment.

Sometimes they stop in Singapore. TV is normally in the back of the seat in front of you. I cannot continue now because I am a Brit and I lived in Hong Kong for ten years. So I am now feeling sad. Doi M jue.

Only know of Singapore as a stopover. If you arrive in the morning and have to wait for an evening flight out, they do an awesome free tour around Singapore showing some of the cities highlights. I was very tired but still remember the sights. The tour is organised from the airport and they hold your passport until they bring you back. All quite safe and enjoyable.
You can watch movies, listen to music, watch tv. The entertainment on long flights is great. You just have to remember to sleep and move around every now and then,
On the long flights too, there is food offered at frequent intervals consisting of fruit, rolls with fillings, biscuits. Just nibbly things I was really very satisfied and I flew Singapore Airlines.kkk
